November 6 - 9, 2009: Sensei Jayne Butram and the Okinawan Karate Center will host a weekend Clinic featuring Sensei Jim True and Sensei Mike Pepe. Classes will cover American jiujitsu knife defenses and Brazillian Jiu-jitsu ground fighting Contact sensei Jayne Butram for details.

May 4, 2008: The 29th Semi-Annual Shorin-ryu Karate Championship Tournament will be hosted by the Northeast Shorin-Ryu Karate Academy of Andover. The tournament will be held at West Middle School, 70 Shawsheen Road, Andover MA in the Gym. Doors open at 11:30am, eliminations begin at 12:00pm. Tournament entry is only available to registered Beisho Members.

June 29-30, 2007:West Coast Summer Budo Camp sponsored by Oregon Family Karate Camp location: Neskowin, on the scenic Oregon coast. The coast is spectacular sightseeing, hopefully you will have time either before camp or on Sunday to do some if it! We need to have a tentative number of students attending so if you think you will be going to summer camp let us know ASAP. Include family members if they are planning to eat with us.
Lodging is available for the moment. It will fill up fast so if you think you will be attending you should reserve a room asap.
